Fireman...

Last Saturday Porter and I went to a birthday party for a boy in our neighborhood who turned three! Happy Birthday Jonah! We went to the fire station and toured it, got to put on the fire suit, took a ride in the fire truck, and even got to spray the hose. Needless to say, Porter was in HEAVEN! It was such a fun experience, very up-close and personal. The fire fighters were all so nice. They said there isn't enough fire in Salt Lake, which is a good thing for the public, but not for them!

They let me put on the fire suit, which was all pretty heavy (60lbs). Porter thought it was pretty cool.

I think this was Porter's favorite part. The water shot pretty far and his face, as you can see from the bottom picture, is really enjoying it.

Bahama Mama!!

Mark and I went to the Bahamas courtesy of WaMu! It was a much needed break from the little ones. It was so relaxing and good to get away from the snow! We played on the water slides, bought cheap souvenirs, ate good food, had fun at the dinner parties and even got gifts on our bed nightly from Washington Mutual. It was all wonderful!

Jonny and Suzette came with us which made the trip that much more fun.
Tough guys...
Literally the biggest fish we've ever seen!

On the sail boat about to snorkel in the middle of the ocean. The Atlantis hotel is in the background where we stayed.

All around the hotel were these huge tanks filled with fish, sharks and stingrays.
One night was a pirate party. Amazing decorations...no detail left out.
ARRRGGGHHHH MATEY!

And if your wondering who took care of our two kids while we relaxed...it would be my mother! Thank you so much mom for sacrificing so that we could relax. (I knew there was a reason we named Claire after you!! :) ha)

Thanks mom...we miss you already!

How to decorate a valentines cookie...

1. Frost your Heart cookie with red icing (the kind that stains anything it touches!)
2. Try it before your through to make sure it's something you want to continue!
3. Always have a jealous bystander...it makes it that much more fun.
4. Add sprinkles, because the more sugar the better!
5. Take a bite and enjoy.
6. Don't forget to wash it down with milk.
7. Smile for a camera so you can do it all over again!
8. And when your full, I guess it's okay to leave some scraps for the bystander.
9. I'm sure she'll enjoy it too!!!

And that's it. Happy Valentines Day. LOVE- PORTER
