Leaf Raking

Porter was outside riding his bike, so I decided to make myself useful and rake the leaves! If you've ever been to our house, you would know that we have the two biggest trees in the neighborhood! (probably not, but it sure seems like it) One in the front and one in the back. We've already raked once this year, but they seem to keep falling. Growing up in San Diego sure didn't prepare me for raking leaves! Probably my least favorite thing about fall, but Porter sure had fun.

Porter attempting to make a "leaf angel." He had no clue what to do!

Claire didn't like being left in her carseat while mom and porter were playing in the leaves.

This is the tree in our front yard...and it looks like we'll be raking a whole lot more!! Does anyone want to help?? We pay pretty well! :)

Porter is such a stud!!! Can Jon and I baby-sit him? I would totally baby-sit Claire too but unfortunately I am not breast feeding at the moment.....ha-ha I am excited for the day that I am not working as much and our kids and us can hang out during the days. Cute pics!

What a cute leaf angel pic! Love it. Sure does look like hard work, but you're so lucky to have nice big trees.

I wish I could help...Trent would LOVE to rake leaves and play in them. And Camryn and Claire could chill in their carseats together!

Growing up we always had leaves to be raked..it had both ups and downs..the downs...having to actually rake the leaves. Ups..playing in them!! We would rake them into a huge pile and "bury" each other under the leaves, we would also jump from the trees into the piles...and then another down side was having to rake them up..again! However we would do this over and over...go figure. Then once we were bored with it we had to put them in huge garbage bags. It's the little things that make kids happy...

I'm sure it's so annoying to rake the leaves, but that was my favorite part about being in utah when we were going to school, is the leaves everywhere. I loved it. Atleast you have seasons, it was 75 degrees here. I'm kind of sick of the heat to tell you the truth, but i guess I don't really ever want to be in Utah when the snow comes! SOrry meggy. That is such a cute picture of Claire, i can't believe how big she's getting , ican't wait to see her and porter...and I guess I'm excited to see you and mark too! :)
